So basically, with it being 2016 and all i decided i would start doing more exercise and start eating healthier. I normally am quite a fit and relatively healthy person however i just wanted to do a bit more because i wasn't feeling comfortable with my body and wanted to feel healthier.
I decided i would start a blog so i could document how i do with everything and if any of you reading this want to join me then you are more than welcome.
I'll start off with a little bit about me, i'm 18 and i currently weigh 127.8lbs. My exercise as of now consists of two 'bootcamp' 1 hour workout sessions with a personal trainer a week where we do cardio and some strength training (we don't really focus on a certain area like arms or core, we sortof just do whatever). And then i started this small 30 day glute challenge which i will attatch below if any of you would like to try it.
My aim is to:
- Cut down on any junk food i would have usually ate
- Drink much more water
- Exercise much more
So i don't know yet if i want to do a '30 day challenge' because i want to start smaller than that as over christmas break i have eaten A LOT of bad food (lol) so i doubt i would keep it up. What i will do is document my food and what i do exercise wise in the day. I am a student so i obviously don't have too much time but i will do this!
So, todays food was...
Breakfast: two whole wheat thins with cream cheese and two slices of ham (i need to find something else that doesnt have cream cheese in it to have for breakfast)
Snack: Banana and a small chocolate milk carton (need to take that out my diet as well lol this isn't going very well is it)
Lunch: Pasta and cheese with brocolli
Snack: Orange
For my exercise for today i am on Day 6 of the squat circuit challenge, and then i went to bootcamp as it is monday (i go mondays and wednesdays). At bootcamp we did boxing and i did a total of:
- 100 straights
- 100 high straights
- 100 hooks
- 300 upper cuts
We then did some cardio work and did a circuit consisting of 4 minute intervals of 20 kettlebell high swings and 10 burpees. In total i did 95 kettlebell high pulls and 40 burpees in 8 mintues.
